Letting My Brother's Best Friend Take My V-Card (Jessie and Luke)

Billionaire My Husband 33

CHPATER 33 LUKE

"What the fuck did you just say!?" I was seething. The only color filling my vision is red. I moved without thinking/ My body responded on a primal level, one where it was pure instinct.

I watched the idiot's face pale as clutched his shirt and pulled him up by his collar. "Her name never leaves your mouth again. Otherwise, I'll make sure it's the last thing you say. Got it?" I said calmly, making sure he understood the meaning behind my threat. I knew he did. I let him go, and he straightened his shirt. "Sorry, man. It was just what I heard. I didn't mean anything by it. We know your would never..." I cut my eyes to him before he could continue his sentence. He swallowed hard and shut his mouth.

Suddenly, someone was crashing into the lockers. When I looked around the row I just had Matthew pinned against, I saw another senior player on the floor and Josh standing on the other side of the bench. His fists balled next to his sides, and I knew what he was feeling. I looked over at Matthew before stalking towards Josh to calm him down. "It's not worth it, bro," I said, putting a hand on his chest. He didn't even notice me. "My sister's name stays out of your mouth. You got that! It stays out of all your fucking mouths!" Josh yelled, and I turned to see all the players look at

the floor.

In junior year, we had the same type of discussion in this locker room, only it was more of a warning: to never even think about dating his sister, and if they saw anyone so much as look at her, make it very clear nobody is dating her... ever.

I watched Tom let go of the guy he had pinned against the wall. I've never seen that side of Tom. He was a genuine nice guy. Too nice if you ask me, but it was good to know he had that streak in him. It might be useful on the field this weekend.

The locker room empties out, and it's just Tom, Josh, and me. "Thanks, man." Josh gave me a curt nod like he knew I would

be there, doing my duty or something. Then he looked at Tom and grabbed his shoulder, "Thanks. I appreciate it. She's my sister, you know. This school sometimes..." And I need you to know that a rumor about

Luke and Jessica will never happen. She's as much a sister to him as she is to me, but we appreciate you sticking up for her," Josh's words were directed at Tom, but I was the one who felt them.noveldrama

If I were less of a coward, I would tell him right there that it's not true. That Jessica is the farthest thin than a sister to me. Heel, the thoughts I have about her are anything but brotherly love..

"I figured, man. It's not the first time Tiffany has spread a rumor to improve her ranking on the status quo. I'm so fed up with this high school Bullshit. But I know she's got a thing for Luke. Maybe she was just trying to make sure she didn't have competition." Tom slapped my I should be grateful he stood up for Jessica, but I want to smash his face in for thinking he has a right to do that. She's not

his to protect, and neither is she mine, I remind myself.

"Yeah, ma." Josh adds, "She's been after you for a while. Just a heads-up, girl has stamina." Josh winks at me before they leave the locker room for practice. I hang behind. I need to reevaluate my life, but I can't go back now.

Hell, I've done my best my entire life to keep her further than arm length, but now that I've tasted her, touched her, felt her respond to me, felt her warmth, and watched her face as she relaxes and pleasure spreads through her, how do I go back to keep her at a distance. I slam the locker

closed and throw a shirt on. Josh has been there with me through everything. He didn't give me a hard time. He listened, he stopped me from doing something stupid that would have ended my life, and the best way I can repay him is to what? Sleep with sister. How fucking I'm torn right down the middle between my promise to Josh and my need for her...
