Billionaire My Husband 13
JESS
As we pulled into the parking lot, the neon sign above the trendy. bistro seemed to pulse, drawing me in like a moth to flame. Bryan's eyes locked onto mine. I felt his fingers wrap around mine as he helped me out of the truck. The summer air was warm, but I had chills. I was surprised at how easily we could talk-about school, about football, and how I knew nothing about it. He was charming.
"You barely touched your food," Bryan pointed out as I played with my pasta. Is there something wrong with it? You order anything else?"Bryan was worried I didn't like it, but the truth was, I was so nervous my stomach was in a knot.
"No. It's great." I assured him, and he took my hand across the table. "How about we get some wine?"Bryan asked, and I was a little shocked. I expect alcohol at parties, but he knows I'm underage, and he's still offering?
I nodded because, fuck. I needed alcohol. Tonight could be the night, and I was nervous.
It didn't take long for the wine to kick in, and I felt warm and fuzzy all over. Bryan's stories started becoming more hilarious by the second, and I lost count of how many times he refilled my glass.
When he wanted to pour another, I placed my hand on top of my

glass. I think I've reached my quota." I said half-heartedly. My mind was now fuzzy.
"Come on, Jess. Live a little." Bryan pressed and took my hand away before pouring. Then I realized he hadn't had any wine the entire night.
""Where's yours?"I asked, my words slurring a little.
"I'm driving, remember," Bryan beamed back at me.
As we left the restaurant and stepped out into the cool night air, Bryan wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "You are so fucking hot," Bryan whispered in my ear, but the world was spinning, and I wasn't feeling too well.
"I don't feel too well. I think I need to get home," I mumbled and tripped, but Bryan caught me. "No. We are just getting started," His voice was sweet, but his face said something else. My blood ran a little colder, and warning bells started ringing. "Where are you taking me?" I asked, my voice slurred. "This isn't the way home,"
Bryan smiled, his eyes glinting in the moonlight. "Just for a little ride," he whispered. "You'll see."
"No. No. I need to get out. I need to get..." I tried to go for the door handle, but Bryan yanked me away and pulled over to the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. It was really dark outside, and I thought I had seen a nature reserve sign a few miles back. "Please take me home," I pleaded, but Bryan ignored me. He leaned in to kiss me forcefully, but I turned my head. His hand

gripped my jaw hard and forced my head back.
This wasn't good. I do want someone take my V card, but not in this way.
I'd gotten drunk and trusted the wrong man, and now I can't get my body to function. I needed to get out of here and fast. When Bryan tried to force my mouth open, I bit him.
"You bitch!" He sat back, touching his fingers to his lower lip. They were stained in blood. Bryan slapped me and I was dazed for a second while he assessed the damage I did to his lip.
This was my chance. As fast as possible, I undid my seatbelt and got out of his truck, and then I was running, or at least trying to.
I stumbled through the darkness, my vision blurry, my mind racing with fear. I had to get away from Bryan. I had to get help. I reached for my phone, my hands shaking as I dialed the familiar numbers. But no one answered.
I dialed 911, and the operator asked me if I had anything to drink. I'm a minor, and I'm drunk. My parents would kill me, so I hung up the phone.
"Sam, please answer," I whispered, tears streaming down my face.
Panic set in as I dialed Laura's number next, but my hope began to fade as I listened to the voicemail message for the third time.
My brother's phone went straight to voicemail.
No one was answering. No one was coming to save me.

In a last-ditch effort, I dialed Luke's number. Please, please let him answer. The phone rang and rang, and for a moment, I thought it would go straight to voicemail, too. But then, a gruff voice picked up. "Luke! Help. Bryan1 He... I think I'm at the nature reserve..."I blurted out and could hear Luke telling me to slow down
in the background. I was about to take a deep breath and try again. when something slammed into me. Knocking me over. My phone went flying, and my head hit the ground...hard.
"This could have happened back at my place, on a soft bed-not in the woods. But I guess this will be as good as it gets. "I heard Bryan say, but his voice was fading. I needed to get up. I needed
to run away.
When I felt Bryan's weight on my back, I waited until his head was just above mine. With all my strength, I snapped my head up, hitting Bryan squarely in the face.
I scrambled away and turned to see blood dripping down his face. Good. I broke his nose.
Without waiting, I made a run for it and kept running until I couldn't run but I was sure he wasn't behind me. Then I started walking in no real direction. I don't know where I lost my phone so it would be useless to go look for it. I saw lights ahead and the closer I got, I realized it was a 24/7 diner. Hopefully, somebody would let me make a call...noveldrama
